New members are always welcome and people can register at any time. Our Constitution says that new members are formally accepted by the full Forum at the start of each public meeting. Members must live, work or “do business” in Kirkstall, so we need a postal address within Kirkstall Ward (either home or work) to prove your local connection.
Please note that Kirkstall Ward is bigger than many people realise, and includes large areas in Burley, Moor Grange and West Park. The ward boundary follows the River Aire from the railway arches near Wolseley Road to Oil Mill Beck in Hawksworth Wood. It then follows the outer Ring Road to Spen Lane and Beckett Park. The boundary finally follows the Harrogate railway line from the Queenswood Drive traffic lights on Kirkstall Lane back to the railway arches in Burley. Please see the area map here.
